As far as cannabis has progressed over the last 10 years, many patients are not aware of all the options available to them. Consumption method and dosage make a major difference in the level and duration of relief a patient feels. It’s important for you to find what works best for you. Let’s talk about it…
Flower is the tried and true, go-to for a lot of patients. It’s easy, efficient, provides quick relief and it’s familiar. Flower is available as is, in nug form, in prerolls, and infused prerolls. Different delivery methods for flower can increase the effectiveness (glass pipes, bongs, dry herb vapes, etc.). Try each type and decide for yourself what works best!
Cannabis extracts are potent, concentrated forms of cannabis made by extracting cannabinoids, terpenes and other compounds, from the flower and plant material. Solvent based extractions are made using solvents like Butane and C02. These extracts are purged using a vacuum oven to remove residual solvents, leaving a concentrated oil.
Other forms of concentrates like hash rosin, are made without a solvent. Extracts come in a variety of consistencies ranging from dabbable concentrates like live resin to vape cartridges and disposables. Extracts are potent, effective and cost efficient for most consumers.

These options are often made with minimal ingredients, focusing on the cannabis itself. If you enjoy your edibles like your candy, don’t worry, there are plenty of these options too. Edibles can be found in the form of drinks like coffee or juice and in your classic forms like gummies, hard candies, chocolate, etc.
Topicals, although not as popular, offer a discreet, and often, non-psychoactive way to ease inflammation and pain. Transdermal patches, target specific pain areas for long periods of time without needing to be reapplied.
